Vital Rotherham United’s Man of the Month for February is Matt Crooks.
Joining the Millers in January 2019 from Northampton Town Matt has made fifty-four appearances for Rotherham up until the end of February, thirty-eight of those this season where he has helped out with eleven goals.
Matt was twice voted Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Match – firstly in our away win at Lincoln City where he scored the only goal of the game just after half-time and then in our two-all draw home game against AFC Wimbledon when he scored the Millers equaliser on the hour mark.
Matthew Olosunde also won two Man of the Match votes which were in our win away at Accrington Stanley and in our away draw with Coventry City.
It’s because Matt Crooks got more votes throughout February that he gets the accolade.
Our other two games in February saw Michael Smith get voted Man of the Match in the three-two win over Burton Albion at the New York Stadium when he scored twice and for our last game of the month at home to MK Dons the vote went to Chieo Ogbene.
