Vital Rotherham’s Man Of The Month – December 2023

Vital Rotherham United’s Man of the Month for December was Viktor Johansson.

In the seven games throughout the last month of 2023 Millers’ ‘keeper Viktor was twice voted our Man of the Match – firstly in our home game against Swansea City (where one of his best saves was to stop a deflected shot off his team mate Lee Peltier going in) and again in our home win over Middlesbrough on Boxing Day.

The first game of December saw the Millers get a point in a goalless draw at Birmingham where Sam Nombe got the vote while in our home game against West Bromwich Albion the accolade went to Seb Revan. A long trip to take on Plymouth Argyle saw Tom Eaves come off the bench to score his first league goal in a Rotherham shirt and consequently got the vote in our poll with skipper Sean Morrison being voted Man of the Match away against Leicester City. Our last game of the year was at the New York Stadium against Sunderland where a cracking goal for his first for the Millers from Sam Clucas helped him get Vital Rotherham’s vote for that day.
