Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne says that every Rotherham supporter was ‘ace’ on Saturday at Glanford Park.

Speaking to iFOLLOW the Millers Boss said, ‘Psychology is key in sport. People like to be loved, like to be appreciated and in professional sport any little advantage you can get is crucial.

‘The home support here has been brilliant. Our home form has been really good, some of our performances have been really excellent and we are playing a team who are second in the table for away form. So our fans are essential to keep the lads going.

‘We don’t know which way the game is going to go. We might be two down after ten minutes and that’s when the fans can flip it one way or the other. They can be edgy and nervous which could affect the lads or be upbeat, shouting and singing which gets the lads right up for it.

‘I get that the lads have a responsibility to get the fans going but I feel there’s a good atmosphere in the ground at the moment and the players really enjoy playing in front of them.

‘So please turn up and shout for your local team, the lads are going to need it.’

Millers fans are being encouraged to wear their ‘colours’ tomorrow night to make the stadium mostly red. There will also be red and white cards laid out on the seats which supporters will be asked to raise when the teams come out onto the pitch.
