RUFC – View From The Opposition – Plymouth

|

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne thought his players deserved something from Saturday’s game with Plymouth.

Both Managers thought Argyle started the game better with Plymouth Boss Derek Adams telling their Official Site, ‘We were on the front foot and were probably unfortunate not to have taken the lead early in the game.

‘We were too casual and it allowed them to get in and get ahead in the game although it was a good goal from Towell. But we knew if we kept probing we would get chances and we did.

‘Rotherham are a good side who have performed well this season and have good players all over the pitch. They are a very good outfit and are rightly in the play-offs.

‘We’ve had a lot of setbacks throughout the season that we’ve had to deal with but these players deal with it all the time. Today is a prime example, we had to win the game and we get the three points.’
