Rotherham United got their first three points on the board yesterday after beating Oxford United, one-nil, at Don Valley with Millers Manager, Andy Scott saying that he was delighted but it had been a tough game.

Oxford’s Manager, and former Miller, Chris Wilder told BBC Oxford that he thought his side should have been two-nil up at half time.

‘We are disappointed to lose because we don’t like losing and we expected to come here and get a result. But, we switched off for a minute and the boy’s smacked a wonder goal that split the sides.

‘I thought we had the best two chances of the game and Clarkey (Ryan Clarke) hasn’t had too much to do. And, in the last twenty minutes the majority of the play was in their half but the quality wasn’t there.

‘They have some decent players and are a good side and I’m certainly expecting Rotherham to be there or there abouts.’

Is that a fair assessment?
