Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne said it was a ‘sad day’ after Saturday saw the Millers relegated from the Championship but he also said there were ‘positives’ to take from the defeat to Fulham.

Meanwhile Slavisa Jokanovic, Head Coach of Fulham, was pleased to get the win which saw his side go into the play-off places.

‘It was a tough game,’ Jokanovic spoke to Fulham’s Official Site after the one-nil win. ‘We knew we`d have to concentrate to score the goal and finish the game without making too many mistakes.

‘But I have said before that I miss one-nil victories. We scored the one goal and finished the game with a clean sheet which is good news for us.

‘We knew Rotherham’s strength was set-pieces, and sometimes long ball and second phase. We were going to be really focused and concentrated on not making mistakes.

‘The Rotherham fans can be proud. They are relegated but the team showed organisation and desire and fought very well. I am certain somebody is going to lose points in this stadium.’
