Rotherham United winger Ryan Williams says the team fought well on Saturday against Oldham to get the win.

Speaking to iFOLLOW the Australian said, ‘As soon as the second one went in I knew that we’d get at least one or two more.

‘When we are at one-one I think we find it hard to see that we will score but when we do we keep going and run over the top of people.

‘We are taking things game by game and trying to compete as well as we can. We are enjoying ourselves and working hard at the same time.

‘With each game I think I’m getting fitter, stronger and more adapted at playing every week. I had a few injury troubles but that’s all behind me now. I’m enjoying playing.

‘I’m pretty self motivated whether there is someone waiting to come in behind me or not. There’s a real togetherness about the group and no-one really minds who scores or who gets assists.’

Going on to talk about striker Kieffer Moore, who Ryan has set up for a few of his goals, the twenty-three year old said, ‘It’s good to have him on our team.

‘He’s on fire. He’s always in the right spot at the right time and is dangerous with his feet and obviously in the air.’
