Rotherham United are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Kieffer Moore in the five one victory over Oldham Athletic at the weekend at the New York Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Moore was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Moore now sits top of the EFL goalscoring charts after grabbing another brace as Rotherham United hit five for the third time this season. His header against the bar led to the opener in the 5-1 win over Oldham Athletic, before scoring an acrobatic rebound and a bullet header to take his season tally to eight.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Moore for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Joe Murphy (Bury), Danny Grainger (Carlisle United), Yoann Barbet (Brentford), Oliver Lancashire (Swindon Town), Tony McMahon (Bradford City), Jodi Jones (Coventry City), Erhun Oztumer (Walsall), Jimmy Smith (Crawley Town), Billy Bodin (Bristol Rovers), Kieffer Moore (Rotherham United), Junior Morais (Peterborough United).
