Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore admits he doesn’t know much about new loan signing, Abdulai Bell-Baggie but says, on just seeing him play once, he thinks the Millers fans have a lot to look forward to with him.

Moore saw Bell-Baggie play on Wednesday in a Reserve game against Exeter and told MillersPlayer, ‘What I saw, on just that performance, I thought that he’s going to benefit us and have a big part to play as an impact player.

‘He’s seventeen and he’s got electric pace. He’s brave and strong and has got a lot of goals for the Reserves and kids. He’s two footed and can play on the left wing and gets into little pocket. He turns and twists and, even at his young age, he knows the game.

‘I was surprised when I phoned up Reading’s gaffer and had a chat to him that he was willing to let him out. But they are willing to let one or two young players out next season for a years loan so I thought I’d get in first and have a look at this lad because there is a lot to come from him.

‘I’d love to have given him twenty minutes at Dagenham but it just wasn’t the game for that.’

I only saw him in the pre-match kick-about on Saturday but, through his stature, he bears a resemblence to Shaun Wright-Phillips. And, from the way Ronnie Moore has waxed lyrical about him, it sounds like he can play like him as well! If only, eh . . .
