Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore thought that the team performance against Dagenham and Redbridge this afternoon was ‘fantastic.`

Speaking to MillersPlayer after the one-nil win, Moore said, ‘I thought first half we got on the ball and passed it without really testing the ‘keeper. But, once Alfie had got the ball, I thought we were comfortable and that we defended well. Although, at the end, it didn`t feel like a comfort zone with them throwing all the big men on and all the long balls and throw-ins they had.

‘I was pleased that we got the first goal. But, I did feel, once we had the goal we tended to drop back a bit. But I thought our back four were absolutely brilliant and Alfie dropped back and played left-wing later on which proves to me that everyone in the side has given their all. And, if we defend like we did today for the rest of the season then we`ll be in third spot, there`s no doubt about that.`
