Rotherham United Reserves entertain Derby County Reserves this evening at Don Valley Stadium with both teams expected to play some first team players.

The Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore will be wanting to see how striker Ryan Taylor`s match fitness is as well as taking a look at central defender, Luke Ashworth. After Saturday`s poor game against Stevenage, which ended one-all, Moore said that he would be putting some more of the first team in too – though, whether that was just a threat or a promise remains to be seen.

Rams Manager, Nigel Clough is hoping that Russell Anderson, who picked up a groin strain in the first game of the season and Gareth Roberts, coming back after a hamstring problem, will both feature this evening.

At the moment, the Millers are third in the table, with Derby and Port Vale above them, though a good win tonight could see them go top if Vale lose to Sheffield United this evening.

Kick off tonight at Don Valley is 7.00pm
