Chris Kavanagh from Lancashire
This is Chris’s second season as a League Referee after the start of the 2012/13 season saw him promoted to a referee in the Blue Square Conference after reffing in his home of Manchester.
May 2014 saw Chris appointed as the Manchester County FA’s Referee Development Officer.
This will be the Mancunian’s first time in the middle of a Rotherham game although he has been in the middle at Hillsborough before in November 2014 when the Owls beat Wigan two-one.
This season Chris has been in charge of twenty-four games showing eighty-seven yellow cards and one red card which was to Leroy Fer of QPR
