MR NIGEL S MILLER FROM WITTON GILBERT IN COUNTY DURHAM.

This is Nigel’s 5th season on the National list of Referees as he was elected on for the 2003-2004 season, following 4 seasons as a Football League assistant Ref.

He has taken charge of 2 previous Rotherham games, both being home defeats for us, hopefully a change will follow for the Grimsby game.
The first time was a 3-1 defeat by Derby County on 19th February 2005 and just 1 yellow card was issued, this being to Jamal Campbell-Ryce.
The second time was on 31st of March this year and a 2-0 home defeat by Bournemouth in which 2 players saw yellow.
Rotherham’s Ian Henderson and Bournemouth’s Josh Gowling.

So far this season Nigel has taken charge of 8 games, giving out 17 yellows and just 1 red, this being in the recent game between Huddersfield and Nottingham Forest when Danny Cadamarteri was issued with his second yellow for jumping into the crowd to celebrate his goal.

The Championship Sat 22 Sep 2007 Stoke 3-2 Plymouth 3 yellows
League 1 Tue 02 Oct 2007 Huddersfield 1-1 Nottm Forest 2 yellows 1 red.
