Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield that it will be good to have midfielder Darren Potter back with the squad.

The thirty-three year old signed a two year contract with the Millers in the summer, coming from MK Dons, becoming a fans favourite in the middle of the park but hasn’t played since limping off at the beginning of December with an Achilles injury.

‘He’s on the grass at the moment,’ Warney said, ‘but not training with the squad.

‘We are hopeful that after the Gillingham game (3rd March) he will be fully integrated with the squad and then it’s about getting him some minutes on the grass and playing reserve games to get him up to full speed.

‘He’s been out since the start of December so it will be nice to have him back.’
