Rotherham United take on Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, a team who have just sacked their manager and Millers boss, Mark Robins feels this could possibly make the Millers task tougher.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, ‘It’s always sad to hear that someone has lost their job and I think Gary Peters is a really good manager and am sure he will come back.

‘He’s probably a victim of his own success as he was in the play-offs last season. It’s the clubs first season at a new stadium and you have a period of adjustment and I am sure Peters will be disappointed.

‘It’s a lovely new stadium and we will look forward to playing there. I’m sure the assistant in charge will change a few things round and do a few things differently.’

John McMahon, Peters’ assistant, has been put in temporary charge after Peters left the club yesterday by mutual consent.
