Rotherham United make the journey to Boundary Park for the first time in nearly three years to take on Oldham Athletic.
The two last met at Boundary Park in March 2014 when goals from Mark Bradley and Lee Frecklington gave the Millers all three points on the night. Bradley and Craig Morgan saw yellow for the Millers during the game with the hosts having David Mellor booked.
Before that it was September 2006 that the pair met when, after a goalless first half, Stefan Stam put the hosts in front with Will Hoskins getting an equaliser for the Millers seven minutes later. On the seventy-sixth minute a certain Paul Warne scored the goal for the Latics that gave them all three points.
The Millers also won away at Oldham on August Bank Holiday Monday in 2005 when the only goal of the game came ten minutes from time from Deon Burton.
Warney wasn’t the only one with Millers connections playing for Oldham that day with Guy Branston (who only lasted ten minutes), Rob Scott and Andy Liddell also being involved.

The Millers and Latics have met thirty-nine times in the league before with Rotherham winning twenty-two of those to Oldham’s thirteen.
The game at the New York Stadium earlier this season had six goals. Michael Ihiekwe put the hosts in front on eight minutes with a twenty-first minute goal from Craig Davies making it one-one going into the break. Two second-half goals from Kieffer Moore and two late goals from substitutes Anthony Forde and Jerry Yates saw the Millers win five-one.
