Rotherham United have delved into the loan market and signed Shay Facey from Manchester City to the end of the season.
The twenty year old defender joined City as a Youth player in 2007. Coming through the Academy he worked his way up to vice-captain of their U21 Elite Development Squad.
Shay went out for a season long loan with City’s sister club New York City FC and has made more than twenty appearances for the club.
Defender Shay has caps for England at U16, U17, U19 and U20 levels, and manager Neil Redfearn describes him on the official web site as having blistering pace.
