Rotherham United are going to be without, and in my opinion will sorely miss, Tom Adeyemi and Semi Ajayi tomorrow as they won’t be able to play against their parent club Cardiff City.

Twenty-three year old defender, Ajayi, is disappointed not to be playing telling The Rotherham Advertiser, ‘I’ve started to settle in here and got a good run of games under my belt.

‘Any information the players need me and Tom know Cardiff really well and I’m pretty sure we’ll be the first port of call.

‘I can’t play but I’ll be cheering on the boys and if we can get a result and back to winning ways then great.’

Asked about his time, albeit only four games, with the Millers, Semi said, ‘Woody (Richard Wood) is always talking and always keeping me on my toes. I can get him out of trouble and he is great in the air. We compliment each other well.

‘Out of the four games I’ve played the Tuesday game (against Huddersfield) was probably our best performance over ninety minutes. We were disappointed not to come away with at least a point. Individually and collectively the back four were really good. We blocked it, we headed it and we cleared it. The team can be proud.’

Semi scored his first goal for the Millers in the game but admitted it was a little lucky. ‘I’m not going to lie, my goal was lucky. The ‘keeper parried it and it hit me but we’ll take them. It was my first ever league goal but the three points would have been the icing on the cake.’
