Rotherham United’s games in the Championship are nearly at an end with Saturday seeing them travel to the Swansea.com Stadium to take on Swansea City.

Sitting in fifteenth place the Welsh side will be hoping to get their second win in April tomorrow against rock-bottom Rotherham their last coming in mid-week at home to Stoke City. Previously to this they had two away losses at Middlesbrough and at home to Queens Park Rangers who have had a surge recently.

The Millers come into this game on the back of a two-nil away loss at West Brom on Wednesday night. They got a rare win at the beginning of the month beating Millwall at home but four days later, again at home, lost to Plymouth and relegation was sealed.

Swans Captain Matt Grimes told their Official Site that it is essential that the team back up the performance from Wednesday night saying, ‘It’s a massive confidence boost to get the win but we need to stay at those standards and keep that intensity. It’s a quick turnaround for Rotherham and it’s essential we put in another good performance on Saturday.’

Luke Williams will probably be without Kyle Naughton, Joe Allen and Przemyslaw Placheta while Harrison Ashby hasn’t played since January having sustained a muscle injury and Josh Ginnelly even longer with a similar problem. Nathan Wood is also out with what is thought to be a short term injury.

Injuries haven’t been kind to Leam Richardson since he took over at Rotherham with Andre Green, Grant Hall, Christ Tiehi, Sean Morrison, Peter Kioso, Tyler Blackett and Jordon Hugill all in the treatment room and not expected to play this weekend. Ben Hatton made his debut at the end of the game on Wednesday night and we’d expect him to get more game time this weekend while the bench is bare and could mean more of the younger players come in to the travelling squad.

The referee for this game is Lancashire’s Leigh Doughty.
