Rotherham United yesterday viewed a video of the incident at Chesterfield which ended in two bookings and an FA charge of ‘failing to control players.’

The melee, that occured mid-way through the second half of the Millers two-nil win, happened after a couple of midfield challenges with most of the players becoming involved.

Paul Douglas,Chief Operating Manager, told The Star that footage was being viewed, ‘There’s no question that it was an unsavoury incident, but the key element in it is how the referee controlled it.’
