Rotherham United welcome the Wombles of AFC Wimbledon for their first visit to the New York Stadium this afternoon.
The game at Kingsmeadow just before Christmas ended with a one-nil win to the Millers and saw Rotherham in fourth place in League Two and Wimbledon just above the drop zone. Things have changed a little since then and the Millers go into this Good Friday game in seventh place while the Wombles have moved up the league to sixteenth.
Rotherham’s game at the New York was postponed last week due to the weather but Wimbledon won at home against Morecambe. Rotherham have lost their only game at home this month while Wimbledon won away a couple of weeks ago at Aldershot.

Steve Evans has no fresh injury worries ahead of this game and his biggest dilemma is going to be whether to play Andy Warrington or the fit again Scott Shearer in goal. Kari Arnason will start after serving a two match suspension and new signing Joe Skarz should play some part in the game.

Neal Ardley has been given the good news that Jesse Darko has extended his loan from Cardiff until the end of the season. Jon Meades and Kelly Youga have both been away on international duty but will be in the squad and Pim Balkestein, who has been out with a hamstring injury, is also expected to travel. Sammy Moore isn’t expected to play as he’s suffering with illness but Curtis Osano has shaken off a slight calf strain.

Tall striker who was League Two’s joint top scorer last season and is the Wombles top scorer so far this season.
