Millers Looking At Miller?

Rotherham United are thought to be interested in Hamilton Academical s forward Mikel Miller according to Alan Nixon on his Twitter account.

The twenty-four year old was a regular finisher when he played for Isthmian League Premier side Carshalton Athletic before joining Scottish Premier League side Hamilton in January 2018. He made his debut for the Accies two months later going on to make another sixty-seven appearances scoring twelve times, four of those being in the last season and was top the clubs top scorer in the 2018/19 season. Mikel was ‘let go’ at the end of his contract, his last game seeing him get a red card.

I think if we are looking for another striker maybe someone who only got four goals last season isn’t quite the one we should be adding to our squad? Although he is around the right age to come in learn under our present management team – that’s if he’s willing to find himself down the pecking order. And, of course, with a surname like Miller he could well fit right in!  But, to be honest, I rather think his surname has something to do with the fact he’s being linked with us.
