Millers entertain Shrews

The Millers entertain the Shrews at Don Valley tomorrow afternoon and both teams will have the play-offs in their minds, although Shrewsbury are the more likely to achieve that ambition.
In February the Shrews were pushing for an automatic promotion place but having only won one game in eleven they have dropped to just under the play off positions. Unbelievably, Paul Simpson’s side have only won one away game all season.
The Millers start this game in fourteenth, although, as we know, if not for the minus points they would have been in the top three and come into this game on the back of a win, loss and draw. Mark Robins’ side have four games to play and, although it’s an outside chance, if they win every one could – with a bit of luck and hard work – get into the play-offs.

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins -It’s going to be a tough game because Shrewsbury are a competative, physical team. We haven’t got to be lulled into what is supposed to be their poor away form. We have our own agenda and we have to stick to that

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers will probably be without Micky Cummins who has a knee injury. Apart from that and the long term injuries, Mark Robins has a full squad to pick from. After all the games the Millers have had recently it is quite probable that Robins will change some personnel tomorrow

Is looking to score at least three more goals this season

Shrewsbury Team News:

Paul Simpson hasn’t got any new injury problems and could field the same side that drew against Rochdale on Easter Monday

Ref Watch:
