Rotherham United are being linked with right-back Ryan Alebiosu of Arsenal – although it’s being rumoured that there are other Championship sides wanting him.
London born Ryan has been with the Gunners since the tender age of eight coming through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in 2020.
He made three appearances in the Papa John’s Trophy for Arsenal U21’s in the 2020/21 season and four the following season before going out on loan with League One side Crewe Alexandra. Last season the twenty-one year old has a season long loan with Scottish Premier League team Kilmarnock.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time the Millers have turned to Arsenal last season defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy was here on loan impressing in his twenty-one appearances before being recalled and sent, literally, to Coventry. Whether that would be in Rotherham’s favour, we don’t know, but it surely can’t hurt.
