Rotherham United striker Jerry Yates is seemingly of
interest to League One rivals Blackpool according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Twenty-three year old Jerry joined the Millers after beginning his Youth career with home side Doncaster Rovers signing his first professional contract in 2014 making his debut on Good Friday 2015 away at Birmingham City in the Championship.

The following season he made twenty-three appearances for Rotherham scoring three goals his first two in the EFL Cup game at home to Morecambe, his first league goal coming when he opened the scoring at the New York Stadium in our two-one win over Norwich City. The 2017/18 season saw him score twice in twenty games.

Having had previous loan spells with Harrogate Railway Athletic and Harrogate Town July 2018 saw Jerry go out on loan to Carlisle United where he played twenty-nine games scoring seven goals before being recalled by the Millers in January and playing in seven games, four of those off the subs bench.

June 2019 saw him out on loan again, this time a season long loan with League Two side Swindon Town and although he was recalled in January just a week later he was back at The County Ground and, until all football stopped in March had made thirty-six appearances scoring fourteen times and has, in the past, said he was enjoying his time with The Robins.

I think, as Millers fans, we all know that our manager Paul Warne really likes Jerry but is it time for him to move on?
