Rotherham United’s next away fixture sees them make the trip to Sincil Bank to take on Lincoln City.
The last time Rotherham visited Sincil Bank in the League was in March 2011, the first game after Ronnie Moore had been sacked. His son, Ian Thomas-Moore got a hat-trick on this Friday night with other goals coming from Danny Harrison, Ryan Taylor and Jason Taylor to give the visitors a six-nil win. Lincoln went down to ten men just after the hour mark when Pat Kanyuka was dismissed for a second yellow card.
The time before that was in February 2010 when the Millers had a two-one victory. Moses Swabu was sent off on thirteen minutes for hauling Le Fondre down in the penalty area and Alfie scored the resulting penalty. Gary Roberts doubled the score on sixty-five minutes and Steven Lennon got a consolation for the Imps thirteen minutes from the end.
A Micky Cummins goal gave the visitors all three points the season before that and in January 2008 Derek Holmes got a hat-trick in a three-one win at Lincoln – Jamie Forrester scoring the hosts’ goal while substitute Shane Clarke saw red for the Imps in the final minute of the game.
The last time the Millers lost at Sincil Bank in the League was in August 1999. Terry Fleming scored the Imps first just after the hour mark from the penalty spot and Lee Philpott got a second two minutes later. With almost the last kick of the game Paul Warne scored for the Millers to make it 2-1 to the home side.

The Millers have already played at Sincil Bank this season in the Football League Trophy where goals from John Akinde (two, one penalty) and Tyler Walker gave the hosts a three-nil win.
The game at the New York Stadium between the pair earlier this season saw a Shaun MacDonald own goal and one just after half-time from Harry Anderson give the Imps all three points.
