Hall Is ‘Looking Forward To The Challenge’

|

Rotherham United’s latest recruit Grant Hall can’t wait to get going and is looking forward to the challenge.

Saying that he’s been talking to Millers Boss Paul Warne for a couple of weeks the defender, on loan from Middlesbrough, told iFollow that it was ‘good to get the deal done’ with the Gaffer working ‘hard’ to fetch him in.

‘He obviously wanted me here,’ Grant said. ‘It was a frustrating season for me last season, I didn’t play much football so I’m hoping to get as many games as possible and hopefully contribute to the team.’

Asked what he could bring to the team, the thirty year old said, ‘I’ve played in the Championship my whole career so I feel I can add that experience, help the younger lads out. I’m a bit old school. I’m comfortable with the ball at my feet, I can head it and the fans can expect me to give one hundred per cent every game.’

One hundred per cent is all we can ask for. Though I think we all hope that he is a no-nonsense defender who can keep the ball out and help at the other end too.
