Easter Monday sees the Millers back at the New York Stadium when Millwall are the visitors and Alex Chilowicz is the referee.
Spanning a six year career as an Major League Soccer official, Alex was involved in over two hundred and thirty top flight American league games before he relocated to England in December last year. He was involved in a couple of games in League Two before his first stint with the whistle in English football was just before Christmas in a game at the Borough Sports Ground between Sutton United and Mansfield Town.
He has since been in the middle for another thirteen games in Leagues One and Two plus one Football League Trophy game with this being his first Championship game. In those fifteen games he has shown thirty-nine yellow cards – though, counting his February to October matches in the MLS which bring the total of games to thirty-nine his yellow card count is on one hundred and forty-eight plus four red cards, three in one game.
