Clarke Joins Rovers

|

Rotherham United have let defender Trevor Clarke go to Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

The twenty-three year old joined the Millers from Irish side Shamrock Rovers in the summer of 2019 making his first team appearance in October in the Football League Trophy when he came off the bench at the New York Stadium to score the winner against South Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.

He made ten appearances in his first season with Rotherham having it cut short due to ankle injuries. A calf injury saw him start last season a month late and he went on to make ten appearances , nine of which were in the Championship.

Born in Dublin Trevor had a youth spell with Middlesbrough before moving back to Ireland to the Tallaght Stadium and he has caps for the Republic of Ireland at U17, U19 and U21 level.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Trevor ‘all the best’ for his future.
