Chieo Too Dear For Swans?

Rotherham United’s Irish winger Chieo Ogbene is a wanted man.

The twenty-five year old is in the last year of his contract and, unsurprisingly, has been on the radar of other clubs, the latest of those being thought to be Millers Championship rivals Swansea City.

Wales Online have thoughts that Chieo is one name on the list of City Manager Russell Martin to take to the Swansea.com Stadium before the transfer market ends next week.

Likewise the Millers will be hoping to keep Chieo who has been playing further up front this season scoring four goals in six appearances in all competitions.

Plus, it seems, that the Swans are struggling financially and to get someone in will probably have to sell first and with Rotherham saying that the Lagos born Republic of Ireland International is not going cheap it could be too much money for City.

Millers fans won’t want Chieo to leave and it seems obvious that Rotherham United don’t want him to go but come September will he still be at the New York Stadium?
