Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman, has today been on the Radio Sheffield’s Football Heaven, taking calls and talking about the club.

He said that caretaker manager, Mark Robins, has done a fantastic job since he took over from Alan Knill and he is sure that he will still be at Millmoor next season in some capacity.

He admits that Robins is on the short list for the vacant managers job, along with around nine others and if he wants to be the man for the job they would want to put an experienced man in to work along side him.

He has been very impressed with everything that Robins has done at the club and says it isn’t unusual to see him at Millmoor at 7.30 in the morning or at 7.30 at night. The board talks with Robins everyday and they are keeping an eye on him and he said that he is very easy to work with.

He also said the Robins is already planning for the future and has already started to plan for pre-season friendlies and is looking at players for next season.

Mark Robins is a true professional and has Rotherham in his heart.
