Carlisle Leaves

Rotherham United have said their ‘goodbyes’ to Wayne Carlisle today just fourteen months from him arriving at the New York Stadium – by mutual consent.

The forty-four year old came as Matt Taylor’s Assistant and took the, probably, unenviable job of taking over the reigns on a temporary basis when Taylor was sacked in mid-November.

When doing interviews as the caretaker Manager Wayne hinted, on more than one occasion, that he’d be willing to take over the job on a more permanent basis but that wasn’t to be and the Millers recently appointed Leam Richardson as Head Coach who has since brought in Rob Kelly as his number two.

It has been confirmed that Dan Green and Scott Brown will stop with the Millers as coaches.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Wayne ‘all the best’ for his future.
