Last night in Sheffield, Millers manager Alan Knill was awarded ‘The Manager Of The Year award for the Yorkshire region.`

Knill told the Rotherham Star ‘I had absolutely no idea that I might end up winning anything. I was invited and went along with the chairman. It was a complete surprise when it was announced. I am not the sort of person who wants pats on the back I just want to get on with the job.`
