Match Stats

A Look At The Stats – Millers v Nottingham Forest

|

Rotherham United took a point away at Nottingham Forest last night and although it looked like our goal had a bit of a charmed life in the second half I see that the hosts’ possession was just five per cent more than the Millers. Bit surprised at that to be honest.

Forest had sixty-one per cent of the duels and fifty-four per cent of the aerial duels with both sides having three corners each. The passing accuracy in the opponents half was about equal – the Millers having fifty-nine per cent to Forest’s fifty-eight.

Attacking wise the hosts had four shots on target from twenty while Rotherham had seven shots with just two on target. The Millers had twenty-five fouls given against them while Nottingham Forest had thirteen.

As fans we might have a bit of a moan about losing the lead – again – but I don’t think an away point is anything to be sniffed at, whoever it’s against. Would I settle for another away point on Saturday at Reading? Yes, I would. Would you?
