Here is a round up of the polls we had on Rotherham Vital in September.

We asked who would score first at:
Saltergate – 43% of the voters went for Reuben Reid but, unfortunately, for the Millers it was Chesterfield’s Alan Goodall who got the only goal of the game (in the 94th minute!)
Don Valley v Rochdale – 45% were correct by saying a ‘dale player would score first with the game ending 2-2
Don Valley v Southampton – 36% voted for a Southampton player to get the first goal in our Cup game but, as we all know, the Millers defender, Nick Fenton got the first goal
Daggenham – Benson scored for the home side first in this game with Burchill getting the equaliser, meaning that 37% of voters were right.

Who scored the best goal in the Millers v Saints Cup game
The result was:
Danny Harrison (78%)
Stern John (12%)
Drewe Broughton (8%)
Nick Fenton (2%)

Another poll was Will you go to DV to watch the Leeds game or stay in and watch it on TV
and the result
Yes, of course I’ll go (58%)
No, I’ll be watching on Sky (36%)
Haven’t decided yet (6%)

After some complaints about queues at Don Valley (mostly at the food outlets) after the next game the question was
Were the queues for food/drink any better at DV on Saturday?
Over half of the people who voted said ‘yes’ they were better

Next we asked about England and who was the best player against Andora and the poll result was:
None of them did much (63%)
Joe Cole (29%)
Theo Walcott (4%)
John Terry (4%)

Against Croatia, before the game, we asked how many goals would be scored and the result was
None (56%)
One (22%)
Two (11%)
Three (11%)

and after the game we asked who was England’s man of the match with the result:
Theo Walcott (81%)
Joe Cole (10%)
Wayne Rooney (3%)
Emile Heskey (3%)
Other (3%)
