The Glasgow born midfielder came through the Youth ranks at Dundee United signing a full-time contract with them in January 2008.

He played a handful of games for the Tangerines plus had a short loan spell with Forfar Athletic before moving over the border to West Brom in January 2012.

While with the Baggies he had loan spells with Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham and when his contract at the Hawthorns wasn’t extended he moved back to Scotland with Hibernian, the following season signing a four-year deal with Celtic.

August 2016 saw Alan Stubbs bring the then twenty-four year old to the New York Stadium on a season long loan. Scott made eleven appearances for the Millers, the last time coming off then bench in our home game in January against Barnsley.

Although there were rumours that the play-maker was on his way to Hibs, last week Scott has moved to Dundee on a season long loan.
