Rotherham United lost striker Kieffer Moore after an hour this evening after receiving treatment on the pitch he was replaced and went straight down the tunnel.

‘He’s got a tight groin,’ his Manager Paul Warne told iFOLLOW after the five-one win over Walsall.

‘He’ll get assessed tomorrow and we’ll look to patch him up for the weekend. Buy we won’t play him unless he’s one hundred per cent.’

Jon Taylor also left the pitch on seventy minutes with Warney saying, ‘he’s a bit sore. We’ll have to address that for Saturday.

‘He does drive in and he adds a goal threat which we need because, at the moment, we are playing with one attacker.’

Asked how far new boy Richie Towell was from playing a full ninety-minutes, Warney admitted he didn’t really know.

‘He played a bigger part than we possibly thought on Saturday and he played a big part today. And he will probably play a big part in the next game.

‘He is a fit player but to be match fit is a different level. I think he’s doing really well but I thought he was beginning to looked fatigued so I brought him off.’
