Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne was disappointed to come away with nothing on Saturday afternoon from the game at London Road against Peterborough

Posh Manager Grant McCann spoke to iFOLLOW after their two-one win saying, ‘It was a really good game.

‘I knew it would be a tough game. They (Rotherham) won five-nil last weekend against a really strong Southend team.

‘But we stood strong and I thought we looked a threat. It was a great performance from us and we dug in deep when we had to and put everything in front of the ball to defend when we had to in the last fifteen minutes.

‘I’m delighted. Everyone put a shift in today and I’ve told the boys they are a credit to this football club.

‘It was a tremendous game for this league with two very good teams and I’m pleased we’ve come out on top.’

After the game on Saturday a male steward was taken ill and rushed to hospital. Peterborough have put out a statement that on Sunday morning the gentleman is sitting up in bed and communicating with his family.

All at Vital Rotherham wish the steward a quick and speedy recovery.
