Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne thought his Millers team deserved all three points this afternoon.

This was Fleetwood Manager John Sheridan‘s first loss since taking over the Cod Army and he told the Official Site that he is disappointed but they have to accept the result and move on.

‘I feel we could have got a draw,’ Sheridan said after the three-two loss, ‘but I don’t think we really got going.

‘Rotherham were the better team and had a lot of possession on probably the best pitch in the division, but with the system we played, we should have done better.

‘We gave away a lot of silly free-kicks in and around our area, and when Newell has a good delivery, it puts you under a lot of pressure and Rotherham’s third goal came from us giving a free-kick away in a dangerous area.

‘I’m just going to accept it and move on to Tuesday when we play Oxford.’
