Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne had some harsh words to say to his team after their three-one loss at the Valley this afternoon.

And although Charlton’s Caretaker Boss Lee Bowyer was pleased with the win he thought his side were ‘sloppy’ in the first half.

‘I thought we were lucky to go in one-up,’ Bowyer told Jake Bacon of News Shopper. ‘We battled and fought but were sloppy.

‘But we dominated them in the second half although it was disappointing to give a sloppy goal away.

‘Rotherham are a good team and we’ve dragged them closer to us sending a statement to our promotion rivals.

‘We used to get bullied but that’s not happening now and they all stood up and were counted as men.’
