Rotherham United defender, Dale Tonge, says they were disappointed with the result on Saturday when the Millers went down three-nil at Grimsby.

‘It was a fairly even first half,’ Tonge told MillersWorld, ‘but the first goal was always going to be important. Unfortunately it went to them and unfortunately it came down my side. Afterwards, Joe (Widdowson) told me he’d crossed it but it’s just one of those things. Then the second goal came so quickly afterwards which was the penalty. We thought it was outside the box and the referee looked at the linesman who shrugged his shoulders and the ref decided to give a penalty. To be honest, I don’t think he knew what he was doing all game. After the game the manager was obviously disappointed but he was more disappointed in how quickly the goals went in and how sloppy they were. They were bad goals to give away.

‘It’s going to be another tough game away at Darlington but we will be going positive and hopefully we will get something.’
