Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, was perhaps not looking his most peachy last Saturday.

The Advertiser has the story that the Millers boss cut his gum eating a peach last week resulting in him having to have a couple of stitches.

Doctors told him he had to take it easy and not shout too much and Robins did as he was bid and everything was fine – that is until he embraced captain Graham Coughlan after the win. The tall defender brushed against his manager’s cheek and knocked out one of the stitches. Oooowww!

I think the fans will agree that the pearing of the strikers was just plum and they seem to be raisin their game with loanee Dyer the apple of the manager’s eye, though there are still one or two banana skins to watch out for

(OK, I’ll get mi coat…)
