Rotherham United goalkeeper, Rhys Taylor said it was quite difficult going straight into the team against Bradford after just signing for the Millers the day before.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Rhys said, ‘In a way it was difficult, though the other way to look at it is to go straight in and play let’s the lads know what I’m about and we clicked from the first minute. So, really, it was all good.’

Asked what he thought about the Millers he said, ‘I think we have to perform for the whole game like we have in the second halves lately. Swindon are fourth in the league and, in the second half I think we really got at them. They didn’t really have a sniff in the second half which showed what we can do.

‘I played for Crewe last year and Rotherham were always one of the best teams in the division. And, I can see within a week, that there’s some good players here and, if we sort out the first half performances, we have no one to fear in this league.

‘I’m enjoying my time here at Rotherham and want to do as well for the club as I can.’
