The Man in charge of our game on Saturday at Don Valley is . . .
Mark Halsey from Lancashire
Mark spent twelve years as a goalkeeper in non-league football before turning to refereeing in 1989. He was appointed to the FIFA International Referees’ List in 2000 and a year later joined the select group of Referees’ list. In 2004, he took control of his first major FIFA appointment – a game between Belgium and France.
In 2009 Mark had an operation to remove a tumour in his throat and he passed a Referee’s Fitness Test at the beginning of March with the game on Saturday being his first League game back since 15th August when he was in charge of a game at Goodison Park when Arsenal put six past Tim Howard.
The last time Mark was in charge of a Millers game was last season in the League Cup at the Britannia Stadium which ended Stoke City 2 Rotherham United 0. Mark booked Reuben Reid that day.
All at Vital Rotherham want to pass on our good wishes to Mark and hope he enjoys a good game at Don Valley.

G Beswick from County Durham and
AN Smith from West Yorkshire
The Fourth Official will be
JR Tyas from West Yorkshire
