The Man in charge of our game against the Imps at Sincil Bank on Saturday is . . .

J Singh from Middlesex

Jarnail Singh started refereeing in Wolverhampton in 1985, reaching Class One status five years later. He reached the National List of Assistant Referees in 2000 and was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2004.

While he was refereeing in the Southern Leagues he won the Southern League Referee of the Year for three consecutive years, which no other referee has achieved.

Jarnail was in charge of two Millers games last season – the first in the FA Cup at Aldershot where he will be remembered for giving a dubious penalty in the last minute of the game for John Grant to equalise for ‘Shot after Mickey Cummins had put the Millers in the lead in the fifty-fourth minute.

He was also in the middle for our game at Don Valley against Notts County when goals from Mark Hudson and Reuben Reid gave Rotherham all three points. Jonathan Forte scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

So far this season Mr Singh has not produced a red card but has shown sixty-seven yellow cards.

Running the line on Saturday will be

A Sannerude from Suffolk and
MA Sutton from Derbyshire

The Fourth Official will be

KDG Lawson from Lincolnshire
