Anthony Forde

Twenty-three year old Anthony began his youth career with his Irish home town Ballingarry AFC before the summer of 2009 saw him join the Wolves Academy making his senior debut in August 2011.

After playing twenty-one times for Wolves, plus having a loan spell at Scunthorpe, Anthony signed a two-year deal with Walsall going on to make more than seventy-five appearances for the Saddlers.

Winger Anthony joined the Millers on a three year deal at the end of June 2016, making him Alan Stubbs’ first signing for the Millers, and made his league debut in the first game of the season in the two-all draw with Wolves at the New York Stadium.

In the thirty-four appearances Anthony found the net three times, the first time being in the loss in the EFL Cup at home against Morecambe. His first league goal came in February against Brentford.

Anthony has caps for the Republic of Ireland at U19 and U21 levels.

At the end of last season, Anthony was expecting the Millers to ‘do well’ in the coming season.
