Rotherham United`s new Manager, Andy Scott was asked about the injuries to Andy Warrington and Johnny Mullins today.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, the new Manager said, ‘Andy hasn`t trained. He had an X-Ray yesterday and he`s got a little chip in the toe. Hopefully it won`t be a reason for him to be out too long but it`s just if he`s comfortable working on it. But, we`ll assess that this week but I thought Jamie (Annerson) did very well today and I was very pleased with him, but having Andy back will be a big, big plus but I honestly don`t know if he`ll be fit for next week. He might come into training and be fine but equally he could come back into training and feel pain which would restrict his work. So, until we get him working, we don`t know.`

Saying that it was a big blow that Johnny Mullins is going to be out for around seven months, Scott said, ‘I`ve played against him a lot and I like Johnny. He`s a good player and being in central defence it`s an area we are really light on. And if we get any injuries or problems there then we are in trouble.

‘The squad is light in several areas and that`s becoming apparent. But, there`s nothing we can do about it at the moment, we`ve got to make the best of what we`ve got and hope that everyone stays fit and healthy and we can get through to the end of the season and be where we want to be.`

Is it only me who thinks it’s strange that no one is mentioning Ian Thomas-Moore at the moment?
