Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says he expects Chesterfield to be there or there abouts at the end of the season.

Speaking about going to Saltergate on Tuesday night, Moore told MillersPlayer, ‘It’s going to be game on. They`re a good side and we`ve got to be at our best to take anything out of the game there. John Sheridan is a good friend of mine and him and Tommy Wright want to play football in the right way. It will be a competitive game and I`m looking forward to the challenge because we haven`t been brilliant as my time as a player and a manager there and I`m fed up with the song ‘you never beat the Spireites` and I`d like to put that one to bed on Tuesday. So, let`s hope the gods will be shining on us because it would be nice to leave them with a bee in their bonnet.’

Asked about his team he said, ‘I think we were excellent against Grimsby, a different kettle of fish to last Tuesday. I`ve got to make a decision on whether Nick Fenton comes back, now he`s available after his suspension.

‘Gavin Gunning did well on Saturday and, for a young lad, looked like he`d played there for years and he`s strong, he`s quick, and he`s got a long throw.

‘Marcus Marshall`s a bit younger but we`ve brought him in because we haven`t got a right winger at the club with Warney getting injured and he can play wide right or down the middle. They are both young, enthusiastic and they are players we would like to have at the club.’

Asked if he thought it might faze them playing in a local derby, Moore said, ‘There’s one thing with young lads playing a local derby they don`t freeze, they`re not bothered, they`re enthusiastic and want to play. The problem comes with experienced players and we`ve seen that here when the crowd starts getting at them. That`s why we want somebody with a bit of devilment and a bit of enthusiasm and the will to win.’
