Rotherham United are on the look out for a short term replacement for injured striker, Tom Pope.

Pope, who is to have scans today on, what is thought to be a chipped bone in his foot, limped off the pitch at Macclesfield on Saturday and could be out for around six weeks.

Speaking to The Star, Manager, Mark Robins said, ‘We will have a clearer idea of how long Tom will be missing later today but will probably be out for at least six weeks. So, I felt it right that we look around and consider bringing someone in.’

Pope joined the Millers in the summer from Crewe Alexandra costing around the £150,000 mark. He scored his first goals for the club against West Bromwich Albion in the Carling Cup last week and scored again on Saturday at Macclesfield.
