Rotherham United have had a bid for Liam Hatch rejected by Peterborough today.

Hatch, who has recently been on loan with Darlington, is due to return to Peterborough on Monday.

Peterborough’s Official Site says that they refused two six figure bids one from Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins and one from Shrewsbury Town as well as two enquiries from clubs asking for the striker on loan until the end of the season.

Twenty-six year old Hatch started his career with non-league Gravesend before joining Barnet in the 2003/4 season. He joined Peterborough last season.
